“A good poem is a contribution to reality. The world is never the same once a good poem has been added to it. A good poem helps to change the shape of the universe, helps to extend everyone's knowledge of himself and the world around him.“ — Dylan Thomas

‘Life is a wonderful journey
You learn so much from it
One moment of sadness on your face
Another moment your face is lit
The journey of happiness and joy
Feeling helpless is also a part
You get many opportunity here
Even if you do not make a start
There is so much to learn in life
There is so much to give
Do not live your life in regret
Give whatever you wish to give
Do things that make you happy
That is what life is all about.’-Poems About Life
In May 2020, in the midst of the first COVID-19 lockdown, my feelings and emotions were playing up with me. Sadness and despair had consumed me. I was here, I was there, but I was nowhere. It was especially painful not seeing our family and friends, our beautiful sweet little princesses, our granddaughters.
Then, I remembered my childhood. I remembered my late father. When he was sad or happy, I recalled, he turned to the wisdom and the inspiring words of the great Persian philosophers of love, the sages and poets, Sa’di, Hafez, Rumi, Ferdowsi, Khayyam, Ganjavi and more.

Hope is the torch that shines light on the plague of darkness
A path to spiritual enlightenment and hope to heal and nurture our Mother Nature
Bereshit’ by Yoram Raanan
‘God planted a garden in Eden. (Genesis 2:8)
The name “Eden” means “delight.” In the Garden of Eden “the gold of the land was good” and the earth shone with gemstones. All the waters of the world are said to have originated in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve were surrounded by rivers that flowed with the knowledge of God, and they could see from one end of the world to the other. It is said that the earth is one- sixtieth of the Garden of Eden.’-Yoram Raanan
The Garden of Eden has since ancient times been imbued with powerful symbolism and layers of meaning. It is both a boundary and a crossing point, a metaphor for spiritual rebirth and salvation, a shared resource and a source of holy water and life. It is the same with our GCGI spiritual values, meaning and work, waters that quench our real thirst and awaken us to the miracles available in every moment, every day, in all we do and hope for.

“O, what a tangled web we weave when first we practise to deceive!”- Sir Walter Scott
The Fooling of a Nation!
Boris and the Big Lies!
'TRUTH is important in politics. Never more so than today, when huge issues are at stake affecting the lives of every voter and the future of the nation and the world.
Political deceit is a form of theft. When people or businesses get money by deceit they face criminal charges. When politicians win power by deceit they can do vastly more harm, but face no penalty at all.
Our rulers expect us to comply with their laws and decrees, to pay the taxes they devise, to make the sacrifices they exhort on us, even sometimes to die in war...'-Peter Oborne
